Bed, Early to Rise – Advertise Japanese art as a basis for focus and discipline This work is inspired by traditional Japanese artistic influences, where rhythm, repetition, and tranquility are central. Nocturnal landscapes, bare trees, and subdued colors refer to concentration and structure. The visual language is calm and controlled – a visual counterpart to mental sharpness and discipline.
An entrepreneurial quote with history
The well-known adage “Early to bed and early to rise” originates from Benjamin Franklin , who used the saying as a symbol for productivity, self-discipline, and success. In this work, that classic quote gets a modern twist with the added word “Advertise” – a nod to the contemporary entrepreneur.
From wisdom to a modern business mindset
Where Benjamin Franklin spoke about hard work and structure, Hans Breuker adds a contemporary layer. Advertise stands for being visible, daring to make choices, and consistently building growth.
