dsignrs is a small editorial shop for wall art and prints, made for readers across Europe and written in English, Dutch and German. We do not print or sell anything ourselves. We choose, we pair, and we point you to the retailer that sells each piece, with the price they charge and the day we last checked it.
The walls on the homepage are composed the way a designer would hang them: a few things that belong together, numbered so you can buy them one by one. The catalogue behind them is filled from the retailers’ own product feeds and refreshed every day, so a price on a wall is a price that was true this week, never a guess.
Beside the wall sit two more rooms. The print hub compares the services that turn a file into a canvas, a photo book or a framed print, on what they actually offer: paper, sizes, whether they accept a PDF, how the file is handled. The software hub covers the programs that get a file ready for print, from free to paid. The guides answer the questions we get asked most: how high to hang a picture, how big it should be, how to lay out a gallery wall, and why a print comes back darker than the screen.
We tell you what to check on the retailer’s page rather than pretend we have ordered from everyone. Where we have not tested something, we say so or we leave it out.
